Window display bridal gown in Newstead, Brisbane
The photos in this journal entry are of Bloom’s bridal window dressing display. Bloom is a contemporary bridal boutique for the modern bride. Their shop mannequins captured my attention. As you may know, I have a fascination with shop mannequins. These couple of pictures are the first mannequins I’ve documented in Brisbane, Australia.
Check out the mannequin gallery and this journal entry which features abstract portraits of a mannequin I rescued from a rubbish skip in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Unfortunately, she no longer resides at my home. In fact, she was adopted by a Brisbane student filmmaker to co-star in an indie film. A fun next project for her.
