Fleeting Forms: A Limited Edition Mini-Series

Limited Edition Mini-Series – August 1, 2025

I’ve just released a new limited edition mini-series of black and white macro photographs—four original fine art prints exploring the quiet drama of botanical and organic forms.

Each piece in Fleeting Forms is a study in shadow, structure, and impermanence. From the underside of a mushroom to a fallen jasmine flower, these nature-inspired images are designed to be viewed slowly. The full set will be available through my online shop, with Australia-wide free shipping from Brisbane.

About the Series

This collection of black and white botanical photography brings together four highly detailed macro images—three floral studies and one of a mushroom gill spiral.

Some subjects were photographed in place, others brought into the studio and documented under natural light. The result is a series of intimate images that explore themes of transformation, fragility, and beauty in decay.

As a Brisbane-based artist, much of my inspiration comes from everyday photo walks—looking closely at the details that often go unnoticed. Fleeting Forms continues that exploration, drawing attention to the structures of nature in transition.

The Four Works

Spore Spiral

Tangle Bloom
This black and white photo of a dried flower head captures the wild tangle of curled petals. An expressive form that speaks of beauty beyond bloom.

Falling Jasmine
Fallen flowers captured in soft light. Their curled shapes float like underwater dancers. A gentle composition in fine detail.

Last Light Hibiscus

Limited Edition Prints – Available August 1

All four pieces in Fleeting Forms will be released as limited edition fine art prints on August 1, 2025. Each work is hand-signed, printed on archival rag paper, and shipped from my studio in Brisbane. A certificate of authenticity is included.

In the lead-up to the release, I’ll be sharing more about the series, the printing process, and a small early bird offer. If you’d like to be notified first, keep an eye on the Shop or follow along on Instagram and Facebook.
